Industry Summary (50 words or less)
I got a job using wine and hospitality jobs . com working for Mass Connections. The day after Mike Pence announced that he was not going to run for President in 2012, all of my work got canceled. When Mass Connections re-organized, they changed their name to Social Sampling. I can still access their web site. If I ever hit big in The Lottery, I can move to Southern California, and go back to work. I Love It...

I got my current job from using this web site. I am really satisfied with my current employment situation. Thanks!

Hi Rick! Yes, you are right - I did move from Seattle to Sonoma in 1999. I used to work for Cucina! Cucina! and started when it was still with Schwartz Brothers. I bet the person you are referring to is probably Su Pinney, who I still work with - she is still in the Seattle area.

It's been years since I have been to a 13 Coins! Brings back memories though. Glad you used NWHospitality - which of course rolled into wineandosptalityjobs.com. How do you like CA compared to WA? I don't miss the weather one bit (or the traffic, but then I am in a small town now).

I once picked cherries at an orchard on Vashon Island. I have been wondering if that kind of work is available at wine and hospitality jobs. I searched Traverse City Cherry Festival and Products, and I did not notice a place for employment.

Ah Ha! I found it. Cherry Capital Food LLC is located in Traverse City Michigan. If they ever need cherry pickers, who are just learning to speak spanish, then I am the guy for the job. On Vashon Island in Puget Sound, they paid $1.25 for every 5 gallons of cherries. If I could have made enough money in Seattle, I would have never left.

Rick, I'm the same as you. I have no time to visit all the sites/orgs I belong to...as much as I would like to. Cheers, Rob

I wish I had more time to participate in network activities. The spy ware my dad has installed on his computer at home does not allow me to use a chat room. I only have one hour of time at the public library, which I must use communicating with my employer. I have found a fun game on the computer on one of the web sites that posts jobs on wine and hospitality jobs . com. Zorbaz is a restaurant in Minnesota. It is posted in Michigan, and not in Minnesota. Frogger is real fun to play. If I get better, I will submit my score. Maybe I will win a fun summer job.
