I am a senior student at The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State. I have recently founded a student organization called Spartan Wine Society which will be premiering this fall. Feel free to check out our website at SpartanWineSociety.weebly.com
I'm currently working to expand my wine network. I'm looking for Wine Industry Professionals who would be interested in educating and mentoring hospitality students in wine. Let me know if you can help!

Hi Dave! Thank you for the luck! I am studying on my own at the moment. Look to put a group together to do tasting and help quiz each other. Let me know if have anyone who might be interested! Cheers!
Yeah, Avalon is still going strong. There are some other great resturants and now a few wine hotspots, such as Gabriella's where at least a couple of their house wines are actually made by foot stomping (dark, rich, not too spendy and good). Soon in Arcata Robert Goodman is opening a tasting room...mmmm I can't wait.
Hi Dave, I do marketing for Los Bagels way up in Humboldt County. Do you ever get up this way? Check out our site, www.losbagels.com Our wines up here are getting a lot more notice, are you familiar with any of the Humboldt County wines?
Hi Dave. Thanks for reaching out. I am a full time wedding planner for destination weddings with A Dream Wedding. I am always looking to make new connections in the wine and hospitality industry. My back ground is in special even management, and food and beverage management. I am always looking to find my new favorite wine!
What a great welcome! I look forward to chatting with you!

Looks like interesting technology! Yes, I understand about not being able to create original content for each post. We just don't want our blog to be an exact copy of another one, so if there are some original posts it is good. I'll get you set up in our software, then we can get going! I'd love to have the box wines one up!

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your note. I like your blog! There are a couple of options regarding adding your blogs here. The first is simply for you to post them (under "add a blog post" on the "members blogs" page. The other choice is to be one of our dedicated bloggers, (under "our bloggers"). These people are regular bloggers for us on whatever their topic is. Yours would fit in well with our new dedicated blog called trendspotting. It has not even had blogs added to it yet as I am just getting our first bloggers set up in the software. This blog is for a number of people chosen by us to add blogs on anything they see happening in the industry - wine, food, dining, festivals, etc. The dedicated bloggers we feature in our newsletter - now going to over 65,000 industry professionals. Let me know if youare interested!.
Yes, I built it in late Spring '08. A way to connect everyone and provide a forum for people to meet and do business. It is an extension of the job board, which I have run since '99 (http://wineandhospitalityjobs.com). I am excited about the growth!
