Sales and Distribution Careers
Hi all,
I am new to the group and I am wondering if anyone has some advice on how to start a career in sales and distribution. I am currently working part time in a tasting room in Carmel and I would love to work full time in sales and distribution but I am not sure how to find a way in. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Patrick,
You are on the right track if you are already working in the industry, having wine knowledge and knowledge of the industry are very important. Sales skills and experience are also important, and you may be gaining some of that through your tasting room experience. Any classes you can take or even volunteering for wine industry events shows a dedication and desire that may mean a lot to many employers.
