This recipe is my old standby but maybe you'll get some ideas from it. Bon appetit!

What in the world should I pair with my Rootbeer braised beef short ribs tonight?! Serving over noodles and also making a roasted beet salad with blue cheese. Help!

I was out of town for a week and just saw your post re: rootbeer braised ribs. I am so curious about the recipe. Can you post it? And what did you end up pairing it with? Fascinating combination of flavors!

hi all,
I just picked up my organic farm veggie box from our slow food group. It has MORE BEETS! I am kinda tired of just roasting them. Any recipes? I also have kale, leeks, and gold chard,& carrots. What can I do with them before Sunday? and what wine?

Judith...Julia Child said, Rose can be served with anything!

Cyrus serves roasted beets with mandarins and pistachios which makes me want to try it with a lightly oaked citrusy chardonnay.

Julienned beets, goat cheese and candied walnuts is a classic first course. Try a special sauv blanc (not too grassy, more earthy with a little sweetness.)

I wonder if a sparkling rose would work?

I think I might try some beets tonight!
